ScoringCareer Three-Point Shooting
Measures a player's career three-point shooting accuracy. Captures ability to stretch the floor and score from beyond the arc. Must be contextualized by era — the three-point line was introduced in 1979-80, and its usage exploded only in the 2010s. A player from the 1990s shooting 38% on 3 attempts/game is comparable to a 2020s player shooting 38% on 8 attempts/game in terms of accuracy, though the modern player's volume is more valuable.
