ScoringCareer Effective Field Goal Percentage
Measures a player's career Effective Field Goal Percentage, which adjusts FG% to account for the extra value of three-point shots (eFG% = (FGM + 0.5 * 3PM) / FGA). This is a more modern and fair shooting metric than raw FG% because it doesn't penalize three-point shooters. Currently supplemental — no active index uses it directly — but it provides valuable context for future shooting-related indexes.
