ScoringCareer Field Goal Efficiency
Measures a player's career field goal percentage. While somewhat era-dependent and role-dependent (centers shoot higher percentages than guards), FG% remains a core efficiency metric. Players who maintained elite shooting accuracy across long careers while taking difficult shots score highest. A rim-running center at 58% may score similarly to a volume guard at 48% because shot difficulty matters.
