Classifies a player into their primary era for the purpose of era-adjusted statistics, specifically the EASE (Era-Adjusted Scoring Efficiency) index. The era determines the baseline True Shooting % used for comparison. The eras and their TS% baselines are: 1950s-60s (48.0%), 1970s (50.5%), 1980s (53.5%), 1990s (53.0%), 2000s (53.5%), 2010s (54.5%), 2020s (57.0%). A player's primary era is determined by where the majority of their prime years fell.
